Michel let everything sink in for a while.

long face, Michel got up to leave.

this,” his guest speculated.
“Indeed, once upon a time, Eve ate the forbidden

paradise. Now we have to move mountains to repair
her mistake.”

“Forbidden fruit is symbolic for male sperm,”
François explained, drinking a last cup of tea. “But
